Mercadito Raices

It’s a program of the Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College, currently in its second year.  This 5 month training program where Latino Food vendors turn their business ideas into reality.  During the trainings participants learn all aspects of business from licenses and permits, marketing, budgeting, food costs, pricing and so much more.   The final phase of the program is participating as a vendor in the Latino Festival, this serves as a temporary incubator and allows participants to learn the process and validate their business idea, and participants also benefit from recognition from consumers into the marketplace.

Solo Meregues – From the heart of South America to Columbus comes a uniquely fresh, sweet and crunchy merengue dessert.   We share our family recipe with you for every catered occasion and we do it with love from our home bakery.

Mango Mango – Mango Mango brings the spicy, fruity flavors of Mexico in a fun, sweet and refreshing mix of ice cream, popsicles, smoothies, traditional Aguas frescas, Mangonadas and more!
